For those of you who don't know, I am travelling to Ghana this summer with a program called Operation Groundswell. All participants are required to fundraise $1000. I have provided more information on my official fundraising page about what the fundraised money will go towards. Please check it out! Operation Groundswell is an amazing organization and I am really looking forward to this summer of a lifetime!
I have decided to "Sew for Africa" and sell my handmade products in order to help with my fundraising. All the products are made by me with love! 100% the proceeds will go directly to my fundraising. All my products have linings and no exposed seams, for a clean, finished look. Unless otherwise stated, all materials are 100% cotton.
Please take a look at what I have for sale below. If you're interesting in buying anything, please send me an email at sky.mcewen@gmail.com and we can arrange how I will get the item to you. I can bring it to school, mail it etc.
UPDATE: As you can see, I have sold all of the pieces below. If you would like to buy something, just send me and email letting me know what you're looking for and I will make you a custom piece. Thank you very much for helping my fundraising efforts!!

Hi Sky,
ReplyDeleteI am a real fan of your quilt work, in fact, you are the creator of the lovely quilt that lays lovingly on my son's rocker (thanks to your dad for such a thoughtful gift!).
In an attempt to try and support your cause and gain another lovely piece of your work, could I interest you in sewing me a quilted seat cushion for my bay window bench?
If you are interested please call me, your dad has my number - and good luck!
